Pad thickness is approx. 1 inch thick and densly packed. The wood used is chemically treated teak wood - ideal for wet conditions. The FRP and wooden structure are eco-friendly and provide a sturdy unit. The materials used don't absorb heat so this cooler's design is optimized for the best cooling.
